Wrangler -

Karie was wonderful to work with. I had originally planned to get a puppy from her when I saw she had an older dog available to a pet only home. I decided that an older dog, he was 11 months when we got him would be a better fit for my family with a young child. She was happy to allow me to get the dog after we discussed details about our lifestyle and the other dog I already owned. The process was great and I really like how she made sure the dog was getting the right home. I would definitely buy again as we absolutely LOVE the boy we got from her. The pickup process was good as we were travelling to pick him up and bring him home to Florida with us from Tennessee. The temperament of our dog is great and he is a total Velcro dog. His recall is perfect and he’s so playful and wonderful. He’s been with us just over a year and loves meeting other dogs and going on adventures to the beach and walks through the woods. I definitely recommend Kicking K to anyone I know looking for an Aussie. The guarantee and the puppy kits are wonderful; we got the kit with our dog even though he wasn’t a puppy which was spectacular. Extremely fair prices, maybe even on the lower end from the prices I see from other breeders.

Feel free to use any photos of Wrangler from his album on here or my Facebook page for the ones that didn’t make it to the album. Seriously, Wrangler is the best dog.

( Little Back story on This pup, Wrangler was a dog i bought to raise and breed, I brought him home Feb 16th 2016. By july his ears were standing up - Which is a breed fault, so i decided to fine him the perfect PET home. On Nov 22nd i said good by to this sweet sweet boy and rae and her family welcomed him into their home!

Late last night I finally received Larka or as Karie called her Canada. I can not believe after researching for 5 years and in the last 2 years I finally have my blue Merle female. A huge shout out and thank you goes to Karie for being so kind and patient and working with me is the last 2 years!!! I FINALLY have a Kicking K puppy.

Let me be honest because of the difficulties trying to get her to Canada has been a nightmare for me, even more so for Karie especially with everything she has gone through in the last month!!! I was ready to give up as it seemed there was no way I will ever get her. Karie REFUSED to quit!!

Finally I asked on the Alberta Aussie Facebook page for help or ideas and one very kind lady offered to go to Montana to pick her up if she can be flown there!! I couldn’t believe it, a complete stranger offering to cross the border to pick up a puppy that I could not get myself!!!

Arrangements were made and I finally have my sweet Larka!!! I knew she was beautiful as all of Karies dogs are but she is even more beautiful in person!!! This puppy that Karie sold me is everything I wanted and MORE!!!

I will tell all of you who don’t have a Kicking K puppy but been thinking on it, stop thinking and do it. Trust me, you will not regret it!! Even with the headache of trying to cross the border, it is so worth it!!!

Now I am trying to figure out a way to get my second Kicking K Aussie and convincing my husband it’s a good idea!!! Lol

Dealing with Karie has been freaking awesome!!! She took time to answer any questions I had, even if I thought it was a stupid one, she never thought so. Karie you are a completely amazing woman with a huge heart!! I am glad I met you via Facebook through horses and you helped me realize my dream!! Her registered name is perfect fit!!

Thank you for everything!!! Sorry this is so long and even though I want to say so much more I will end it here. I only got 3 hours sleep and now have to wake my daughter for school then go to work!!

❤️❤️❤️❤️

Note from Angee after Larka's first show the weekend of  6/22 & 6/23 !!

If you are ever doubting or wavering on buying a Kicking K puppy.. DON’T. I bought Larka after waiting 2 years for her, and not knowing what I was doing as I never shown in my life, threw Larka into a dog show this past weekend. Needless to say she took everything in stride, from have a choke show collar, to running around in a ring, having strange people touch her all over, she took everything in stride with her happy go lucky Aussie attitude. When she wasn’t in the ring, she was asleep at my feet. She did so amazing and improved each time!!! I am so proud of her and couldn’t love her anymore then I do. Karie King you continue to produce spectacular dogs and can’t wait to see more Kicking K Aussies in the show ring. Larka did extremely well for her first time and I hope I am living up to your expectations. I think the 2 year wait was definitely was worth it!! Thank you so much for this amazing girl!! Watch out, she is going places!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Here are a few pictures from this weekend. Her handler is an amazing women.

August 2019 - another note from Angie -
Larka - Kicking K’s Just A Dream

Larka is a year and a half now, she is out of the Blaze & Takoda litter. From the moment I saw her tiny 2 day old picture plus 2 other females, something kept drawing me back to hers. When I messaged Karie to tell her the one I wanted ( I was actually going to pick Israel ) but the last second I picked the pup who now is known as a Larka. Working with Karie has been wonderful. She doesn’t quit!!! When we had huge issues getting Larka to Canada and what a pain that was. I got so frustrated and felt defeated. I was about to throw in the towel, but Karie refused to quit. After some help from a complete stranger, I got my Kicking K puppy. The puppy was so much more then I expected. She takes any new obstacles in stride.Larkas first meeting with Scout, our Great Pyrenees x Akita was amazing. She just ran up to this huge 100 pound dogs and started to play with her. Scout was actually scared of her!!! They are now best friends, and Scout is very protective of Larka. Her first dog show and she did amazing for a pup who was never properly trained. She has won many ribbons and even 1 CKC point. She didn’t show this summer for multiple reasons. 1) I was moving and doing Reno’s and found out we had to do extra Reno’s that we weren’t counting on. 2) Judges love Larka but she doesn’t win in her group or breed. Her build wasn’t up to there standards so I stopped showing her to let her mature for a bit. Larka is not your typical Aussie. So many people tell me how hyper and destructive and I look at Larka who is the complete opposite. Larka prefers my feet or lap.. lol.. Larka is outgoing, friendly, and her attitude is simply amazing. I’m still trying to convince my husband to let me buy another kicking k pup.. but might take me a few years. Larka had her eyes tested and came back excellent (ofa) Her kit has been ordered for the panel testing for aussies. Then at 2 I will complete her health testing. So if you are THINKING on getting a Kicking K pup, don’t think just DO IT!!! Karie is amazing to work with. She makes sure you get what you want. These pups aren’t dollar signs in Karies eyes. She wants to make sure you have your dream pup like she did with mine!! Don’t hesitate to ask questions, the more you ask, the more you know!! Karie will answer them. So saying Karie has a huge heart, and just a simply amazing freaking awesome woman who loves her Aussies!!
Next year I plan to continue Larkas showing, to get the last 9 points for her championship. Once she finishes maturing she will be the dog to watch!!

Karie has been absolutely amazing!! I have used her stud once and going to use her stud on my next litter! She is so amazing to work with! I have placed a deposit on a litter and moved it twice and she has been soooo great with working with me! The time just hasn't been right yet and she is completely understanding! And I CANNOT wait to finally have a kicking K Aussie one day when the time is right! She has also helped me so much with my own breeding program she answers any questions I may have or concerns and is constantly helping me in finding the perfect dogs for my program! She is absolutely wonderful! And i couldn't ask for a better breeder/friend! She ALWAYS puts her puppy buyers and interests first!!!

I reserved my puppy after the litter was born. However, I had a great experience. Karie answered all and any question I had regardless of how redundant I was or off the wall the question was. She gave me great information on vaccines and exercise to avoid by age. She kept me updated on my puppies health and development. She made sure to post photos, live feed and videos whenever I was puppy sick waiting for him. Overall excellent experience and will be reaching out to Karie when we are ready for our next puppy.

Working with Karie to get my sweet baby was a breeze!! She was amazing to work with and worked her hardest to get her to me ASAP. She promised me all these things and they were all true! Bernice was house trained, she NEVER leaves my side, and she’s amazing. I thought she would have a hard time adjusting to us but I was wrong! She has adjusted so well! I couldn’t ask for a better dog even though she is 4 years old! I love my now Brixi girl

- Jordan, She bought Brixi ( Bernice ).

After years of breeding Shelties with my mom I finally decided to get my pick of the litter. Little did we know that two years later we would lose him to an accident, after breeding him. Because of the accident I got to get the pick of the litter but due to another accident we lost him another year later. We have been hesitant on getting another dog because we want to make sure that we have the home it would be safe for them to run. We finally got that and so I decided to look for that perfect dog. Me and my fiance were also looking at a house as well and the land we were going to put it on was plenty for a dog to run around so that made the situation even better. As I was searching on some of these sites that are on Facebook where they sell animals, I came across Karie's post and decided this is probably what type of dog I wanted. Little did I know the dog I decided to come look at when remind me so much of that dog I lost a couple of years ago. We bonded the second i saw him. I knew instantly he was meant for me. Riley has grown up so far to be the gentlemen of dogs and he's helped fill that void in my heart. He loves like any dog does but more. I never could have asked for a better dog. So for anyone looking for a very loyal loving dog, look no further than Karie's dogs. They are perfect in every way.

My KICKING K AUSSIE is the BEST puppy I have ever owned by far! Don't get me wrong I love all of my dogs but Jade has the best temper, personality, she's so lovable and lets not forget smart! She makes every day that muh better. When I first got her she was stuck to me like glue. By the time i got her home she was following me everywhere and would only listen to me and would only come to me. Now, she loves her "nana and papaw" though! I highly recommend buying a kicking k Aussie! They come from great parents and are raised by a great person that loves them so much! If i ever want to buy me another Aussie Karie King is who I will be calling!

We bought TWO BEAUTIFUL,.Aussies from Karie!! Absolutely adore them both! She was awesome to deal with ,we had a limited window of opportunity to get down there to pick up our girls, and she let us meet her at a horse show ,she was riding in and get them!! She keeps up with Zozo and Ginger, she shows their pics like a proud parent and worried with me when Zoey cut her foot! She truly loves her animals, and it really shows! Im glad I found her, I even gladder to call her my friend. :)

- Dawn, She got 2 laci/levi pups off the same litter.

I stumbled upon Karie and her pups at a horse show and couldn't have asked for a more professional seller. I'm amazed at the dog my pup is growing to be. I'm so thankful I stepped over to take a peek at the puppies because I couldn't have asked for an easier transaction, a more qualified or knowledgable breeder, or even a better bred dog. My pup is beyond intelligent, and I know he's going to make the best cattle dog Gunner's Ranch has ever had. Not only are Karie's dogs breathtakingly beautiful, but the quality of dog I bought is top notch. I truly appreciated how quickly she got his papers out to me too. If you're looking for an Aussie, look no further because I'm so thankful I didn't. Jax is the best dog I've ever had and I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Kicking K!!!

A few years ago I decided that I wanted an Australian Shepherd. I was referred to reach out to Karie at kicking k by Rae Kell (owner of wrangler). I told Karie what I was looking for and she showed me some pictures of litters that she previously had! I was looking for a Blue Merle with minimal copper and I really wanted to keep the tail. I just love how they look on Aussies and since I just wanted the pup as a house pet she agreed to keep the tail for me! I put my deposit on Blaze and Takoda’s next litter. Unfortunately, Takoda had an accident and crossed the rainbow bridge. However, Karie stepped into action and had a back up plan shortly after the accident. She kept me updated as much as she could and would answer any of my questions! As soon as I found out Malcom would be the sire once she came into heat I knew they would have some awesome puppies! After about a year after I put the deposit down the litter was finally born! As soon as they were born Karie kept me updated. She sent pictures of the Merle’s that were born, at first I really wanted a male but Karie talked me into getting the girl. I’m so happy that I did, she is my dream dog! We decided to name her Astrid! Astrid loves just about every one she meets, super friendly happy puppy full of energy and so smart! Would 10/10 recommend going with Karie at kicking k Australian Shepard if you are looking for an Australian Shepard!

I’ll be honest. If you had told me a year ago that I would have a black bi Australian Shepherd today, I would’ve laughed in your face, and told you that you were insane. A year ago, I was waiting on my first reputably, and well bred dog, a Rottweiler, to be born. At this point, I knew I wanted an Australian Shepherd, but I also knew that I wanted to wait a while before I brought another dog home after the Rottweiler.
Fast forward roughly 7 months. I’ve decided to start actively looking for an Aussie breeder, being as particular with this breed as I was my last. I had looked in to other breeders, but was not impressed by their stock, or willingness to work with someone that knew what they wanted, but didn’t know “when,” per say.
That’s when I found Karie. She had been recommended by a couple of people on an ISO thread on Facebook. I took a look in to her program, followed her pages, and lurked for a almost a month before contacting her. I shared my interest, what I wanted, and what I was looking for, and she suggested a cross for the following year that would produce what I wanted. Little did I know, what I thought I wanted, and what I ended up needing were complete opposites.
I had been keeping track of this little black bi male- Kicking K’s Night Train, and had fallen in love with him. However, I didn’t think the timing was right, so I continued to wait. I didn’t know that this little guy had other plans. I joined in on a raffle for a pup, and lost- but not unhappily. A female was chosen, instead of Night Train. I decided I had to have him, and sent Karie a message.
Karie was extremely easy to work with, and was really excited that I was going to get my dream puppy a lot sooner than I originally planned to.
I sold my pony in order to be able to meet Karie the following weekend to pick up my little man, whom I had decided to call Strait, after the one and only George Strait. He’s lived up perfectly to his name, and was everything I expected, plus more.
Karie puts everything in to her dogs to make sure they’re all genetically and physically sound, and healthy, with perfect temperaments, drive, and a great start on socialization and potty training. These pups are SMART!
I’ve recommended many people to Karie in hopes that they, too, can enjoy and experience such a wonderful Aussie family, because that’s what Karie makes sure everyone that has one of her pups feel like.
I can never express how thankful I am for Karie, her Kicking K Aussies, and especially for Strait, who has become my rock, my comforter, and my best friend! Thank you so much!

- Morgan, Blaze/Malcolm pup 2018

I had been on the fence about adopting a puppy for awhile before I decided to pull the trigger on doing it. I had originally planned on adopting a Boxer but couldn’t find a local breeder that I could trust with providing me a well bred dog from that breed. Finally I spoke to a close friend of mine (Morgan Harris) who had recently adopted an Australian Shepard from Kicking K (Night Train) to be exact. I was looking for a companion and more specifically a hiking companion. Morgan had referred me to Karie’s page where I would observe each and every Aussie puppy she would post. I was still going back and forth on purchasing a puppy at this point mainly because I had a senior dog and a almost two year old. One day I saw a photograph of a gorgeous red tri puppy known as cage and I had sent the photo to my friend Morgan and privately bragged about how gorgeous he was but unfortunately at the time did not have the funds to purchase the “perfect puppy” a month went by and I finally messaged Karie who answered all my questions professionally and went above and beyond to ensure I would received what I was looking for in a Australian Shepard. Finally I had been placed on a list to get a Australian Shepherd puppy in January from a Blaze x Malcom litter. A week later my friend Morgan had messaged me informing me that “Cage” the “perfect puppy” was still available and my husband and I discussed back and forth and finally went ahead and purchased “Cage” instead of waiting till January for a different litter. The process between Karie and I had been easy, professional, and most importantly she cared about both the puppies and purchasers interest. Once Cage who is now known as Boone came home to us he immediately became family. Like any puppy Boone was playful, curious, and had a few accidents but he showed promise of being my little girls best friend and eager to learn. What sets him apart from any other dog is the fact he wants to learn and enjoys task that require challenges but also wants to be a love bug. We’re excited to start putting him on the trails to experience adventures with us as a family.
